So where to start? The good stuff about the game, mmm Oh, oh no maybe... Um ok yes... mmm.... O now I remember. The only good thing about the game was that the voice over was done by the actual cast of the movie which is awesome! But it does get a bit much, hearing everything over and over again. This should have been an epic game and could have been a descent movie game but everything just went wrong. You start out with the decision to either play as Captain James T. Kirk or Spock. The adventure begins and ends in about 10 15 minutes into the game after the excitement of a Star trek game wears off and you realize that the graphics is bad, there is bugs and glitches everywhere, the dialogs are boring and then after a while you realise the awesomeness of shooting a phaser just becomes annoying with that sound.

BioShock Infinite is the only other game to hold three consecutive weeks at the top in 2013.
Activision's Black Ops 2 climbs four places to No.2 thanks to a 60 per cent increase in sales brought about by retailer promotions. Tomb Raider is at No.3, Injustice falls from No.2 to No.4 and FIFA 13 drops a single place to No.5.
The week's highest new entry is Telltale's The Walking Dead at No.9, with PQube's Persona 4 Arena also new at No.11.

BT writes:
The real shame of it all is that occasionally everything in STVG manages to come together just right and give players a taste of what could have been. Sadly, such moments rarely last beyond a given set-piece, but the potential for success was there and with a bit more effort and/or skill this could have a good or maybe even great game. As it stands, weak game design, bad graphics, and poorly implemented controls make Star Trek: The Video Game yet another movie licensed game that all too well fits the reputation such titles tend to have.
